Job summary

Action Target in Provo, UT is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, integrate, and improve manufacturing systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to enhance processes, quality, cost, delivery, safety, and morale.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/engineering and 1–2 years of process improvement experience, with Creo 2.0 for 3D/2D modeling. You will supervise staff and help implement lean methods to optimize operations.

Qualifications

Pursuing or have received bachelor’s degree related to manufacturing processes or engineering.
1–2 years process improvement experience.
Effectively use CAD system for 3D modeling and 2D drawings (Creo 2.0 preferred).
Knowledge of engineering first principles (physics, thermodynamics, etc.).

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve products or reduce costs using manufacturing knowledge.
Determine root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes.
Provide technical expertise related to manufacturing.
Incorporate new methods and processes to improve operations.
Supervise technicians, analysts, or other engineers.
Design, install, or troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
Apply lean manufacturing to enhance quality and cost-effectiveness.
