Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our on-site team in Princeton, IL. The role emphasizes mechanical design, process development, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering with 3+ years in manufacturing, and proficiency in SolidWorks or AutoCAD to support drawing and product development activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in mechanical design, manufacturing/process engineering, and quality engineering.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
• Experience with root cause analysis, Lean, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical design, CAD, drawings, and product development.
• Develop and improve manufacturing and production processes.
• Troubleshoot quality, design, and manufacturing issues.
• Support new product launches, tooling, fixtures, and process validation.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, cycle time, and cost.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Operations teams.
