Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering preferred.
• Manufacturing or process engineering experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Experience with process improvement, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement methods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering/manufacturing software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and document manufacturing processes and work instructions.
• Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and equipment issues and assist with root-cause analysis.
• Support production with process improvements, technical guidance, and problem resolution.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with equipment selection, installation, testing, and process validation.
• Monitor production performance and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
• Work with Quality to investigate defects, scrap, and process-related issues.
• Assist with new product introduction and implementation of engineering changes.
• Develop or improve tooling, fixtures, layouts, and manufacturing methods.
• Use production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Train and support employees on new or revised processes and procedures.
• Ensure processes meet applicable safety, quality, and company requirements.
