Job summary

Mueller Water Products, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop and optimize process control strategies across the value stream.

You will lead or contribute to improvement projects focusing on safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity while supporting equipment integration and problem-solving culture. The role requires a mechanical/industrial engineering background, 2–7 years of experience, and strong experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or similar engineering field.
• Advanced degree preferred but not required.
• 2–7 years of professional experience in manufacturing/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop control strategies for manufacturing processes along the value stream.
• Identify, justify and deliver process improvement projects with a hands-on approach.
• Focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity improvements.
• Support manufacturing equipment integration and optimization.
• Lead root cause analysis and 8D/DMAIC problem solving activities.
• Implement procedures to ensure products meet customer expectations.
• Contribute to development of a culture of structured problem solving.
