Job summary
Turbotec, a Mueller Industries company, is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer in Newton, NC to support plant operations and production efficiency. You will work across manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering functions in a hands-on leadership role.
Responsibilities include leading maintenance teams, troubleshooting shop floor issues, driving process improvements, developing new manufacturing methods and tooling, and assisting with prototype development while ensuring quality and efficiency
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering (or related) or equivalent experience.
- Experience in manufacturing processes, fabrication, tooling, and process improvement.
- Knowledge of HVAC/heat exchanger systems (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance and manufacturing technician teams
- Support production and troubleshoot shop floor issues
- Drive process improvements & cost reduction projects
- Develop new manufacturing methods, tooling, and materials
- Assist with prototype development for new/modified products
- Ensure quality and efficiency across product lines
- Provide technical support for heat exchangers & tubing systems
