Job summary

Mueller Water Products, a leader in water infrastructure, seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer in Decatur, IL. You will develop and optimize manufacturing processes across the value stream, focusing on safety, quality, delivery and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or similar).
• 2–7 years of professional experience.
• Advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, justify and deliver process improvement projects with a hands-on approach.
• Primary focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory and productivity across the value stream.
• Support manufacturing equipment integration and optimization.
• Root cause analysis liaison to assist in 8-step corrective actions.
• New product and process introduction, evaluation and capability assessments.
