Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with CAD software: AutoCAD, ProEngineer, SolidWorks.
• Experience developing tooling and equipment specifications.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma and problem-solving tools.
• Experience with TS16949 requirements and cost analysis.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and under budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing process(es) for new products.
• Spec and procure all manufacturing equipment and tooling.
• Create process routings and manufacturing process metrics.
• Develop Process FMEA.
• Performs manufacturing cost analysis.
• Assists in 'make or buy' cost analysis for component parts.
• Improves process/ Reduce manufacturing costs by use of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Tools.
• Resolves technical issues with respect to process performance (TPM, OEE).
• Assists in product transfer from development to production.
• Develops/Implements training methods for manufacturing and maintenance.
• Develop preventive maintenance procedures and metrics.
