Job summary

Rehlko in Sheboygan, WI is seeking a Project Manufacturing Engineer to drive safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost reductions across assigned areas. You will mentor technicians, design and implement manufacturing processes, and collaborate with design engineers to ensure smooth transitions from design to production.

The role requires 2+ years of manufacturing experience, Lean Six Sigma, and strong problem-solving.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience (Co-Op, Internship, or related).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred or equivalent change-management experience.
• Strong problem-solving, mechanical aptitude, and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive production performance with efficient operations and high quality.
• Lead process improvements for safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Lead CI initiatives using DMAIC, PDCA, and A3.
• Collaborate with design engineering for manufacturability and support NPI.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, routings, and material flow.
• Manage capital projects and cross-functional teams to completion.
• Support root cause analysis and PFMEA maintenance.
• Implement Poke Yokes to reduce assembly errors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
