Job summary

Talent With Heart in Milwaukee seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and improve factory processes, bridging design engineering with production while ensuring quality, safety, and cost objectives. The role focuses on introducing new products and changes across lines, maintaining production capability, and driving continuous improvement.

The position requires 5–12 years in a large assembly setting, CAD proficiency (Pro-E/Creo), and strong Lean/Six Sigma knowledge to reduce waste

Qualifications

BS Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
5–12 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a large assembly operation.
Proficient CAD skills (Pro-E/Creo) and MS Word/Excel/Access.
Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and process improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead setup of assembly lines and establish processes and documentation.
Bridge design engineering and production to introdu ce new products and changes.
Plan, support and lead introduction of products to the manufacturing floor; optimize line balance, PFMEA, and line efficiency.
Develop Operation Method Standards for efficient assembly.
Apply Lean and Continuous Improvement to reduce waste and costs.
Troubleshoot production line problems and mitigate risks to ISO compliance.
Lead design initiatives, line/cell layout, tooling, and part flow improvements.
Justify capital equipment investments and advance safety practices.
