Job summary

The Blachford Acoustics Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive process development and yield optimization across production lines. You will lead Kaizen and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, develop new processes, and ensure product quality and safety on the floor.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in manufacturing engineering, a BS in engineering, and CAD/ SPC experience. Minimal domestic travel (<10%) is expected as you collaborate with operations and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of engineering work experience in manufacturing settings.
• Experience with statistical tools and problem solving.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with leadership potential.
• Experience in plastics, paper mill, concrete or food industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage implementation of new products and revisions for projects.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement to quality and OEE.
• Ensure process developments meet Quality Management System requirements.
• Create drawings/digital files/CNC programming as needed.
• Coordinate corrective actions and report project deliverables.
• Lead lean/kaizen activities to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Work with operations and vendors on equipment improvements.
• Perform root cause analysis for customer issues and document 8D.
• Assist with quoting estimates for commercial team.
