Blachford Acoustics Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead process development and continuous improvement initiatives across production lines. The role emphasizes waste reduction, material yield optimization, and robust problem solving to enhance product quality and process yield.

The ideal candidate will apply Lean, Six Sigma and SPC methods, coordinate line trials, and work closely with operations to implement engineering changes and prevent defects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of engineering work experience in manufacturing settings.
• Experience in plastics, paper, concrete, or food industry would be a plus.
• 2D software proficiency required; 3D software a plus (AutoCAD/Creo/SolidWorks).
• Experience with statistical software (e.g. Minitab, JMP) and MS Excel macros.

Responsabilités

• Manage implementation of new products and revisions for assigned projects.
• Identify and implement process-related continuous improvement activities to improve product quality and increase OEE.
• Ensure all process developments meet Quality Management System requirements.
• Create working drawings/digital files/CNC programming as necessary.
• Address corrective/preventative actions for quality, technical, and manufacturing issues.
• Lead project planning, execution, and reporting for deliverables.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and supply chain to support production and drive improvements.
• Update PFMEA, QCP, and work instructions to ensure quality.
