Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or similar engineering field.
• Minimum of two years of manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated Lean manufacturing experience to drive results.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of fabrication principles.
• Experience with mechanical and electromechanical assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 20% per year.

Responsibilities

• Analyze workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and layout for maximum efficiency.
• Research manufacturing trends and new technology; recommend improvements to production methods.
• Implement changes in production processes to improve safety, quality, delivery and reduce costs.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Manage capital projects from definition through commissioning and implementation.
• Support safety programs and ergonomics to establish new processes.
• Develop documentation and procedures to support manufacturing functions.
• Address production problems using root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
