Job summary

Littelfuse, headquartered in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to design, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes. You will serve as the technical bridge between product design and production, supporting NPI, process validations, and continuous improvement efforts.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in engineering and 3+ years' manufacturing experience, with strong RCA/8D/SPC skills and hands-on line support in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with RCA, 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys, FMEA, and SPC.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Hands-on line support in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing data and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes and work instructions.
• Support production by troubleshooting process and equipment issues.
• Lead continuous improvement, cost reduction, and productivity projects.
• Support new product introductions (NPI) and process validations.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
