Job summary

Littelfuse is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for stable, cost-effective production. You will conduct time studies, analyze capacity, and lead Lean initiatives to improve throughput and quality while supporting NPI and process validations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in high-volume manufacturing, experience with stamping/metal forming, and a Six Sigma or SPC background.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in high-volume environments.
Experience with stamping, metal forming, automated lines.
Six Sigma or SPC experience highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, labor utilization, and equipment performance evaluations.
Lead Kaizen and Lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve throughput.
Analyze production processes and implement corrective actions for quality and scrap reduction.
Develop, maintain, and standardize work instructions, SOPs, and manufacturing standards.
Support NPI, product transfers, process validations, and manufacturing validations.
Identify automation opportunities to improve productivity and ergonomics.
