Job summary

Universal Instruments Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support New Product Introduction and optimize factory operations. You will develop manufacturing processes, work instructions, tooling, and layouts, while solving material and workmanship issues and planning future improvements.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality and other units to ensure timely issue resolution and strong project performance in a capital equipment environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline with 2+ years hands-on experience.
• Experience with SAP or other MRP systems.
• Lean, Six Sigma, and SolidWorks experience.
• ISO certified production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support resolution of production issues and drive corrective actions.
• Contribute to New Product Introduction and product development processes.
• Improve manufacturing work instructions, tools, and process flows.
• Design and develop manufacturing processes to meet metrics.
• Collect and analyze operations data to drive performance.
