Job summary

Stellar is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes aligned with product specs and quality standards. The role focuses on optimizing production methods and coordinating launches for new or revised products.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with AutoCAD/SolidWorks, Epicor ERP, and strong problem-solving abilities to support continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two-year trade school degree or pursuing degree in Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with manufacturing engineering practices and process development is preferred.
• Proficiency in using CAD tools (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and ERP systems (Epicor) is desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering instructions for manufacturing processes.
• Prepare quotations for labor, tooling, and equipment.
• Participate in concurrent engineering design reviews.
• Evaluate and approve drawings, routings, specs, and documents.
• Design and procure tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoot production problems and implement improvements.
• Train assemblers and introduce new processes.
• Prepare prototypes and assist in manufacturing when needed.
