Job summary

Stellar Energy Americas Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Jacksonville, FL to operate engineered systems and develop sustainable production processes. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver quality, safety, and efficiency improvements on the shop floor.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, CAD skills (SolidWorks/AutoCAD), and Lean tools experience. Travel is limited to on-site operations with a focus on cost-effective, safe manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environment and ability to assess manufacturing issues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures; first point of contact for line stoppage.
• Assist with researching and specifying equipment options.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and quality to resolve issues.
• Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and design problems using investigations and corrective action planning.
• Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve operations.
• Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls to optimize efficiency and quality.
• Uphold manufacturing standards including process maps, routings, and cycle times.
• Generate work instructions and standardized work to ensure quality at the source.
• Serve as voice of the customer for design input.
• Partner with on-site EHS to ensure safety compliance.
