Job summary

Stellar Energy Americas Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Drafter to create and maintain detailed drawings and production documentation for manufacturing operations in Jacksonville, FL.

You will translate engineering concepts into clear, compliant, production-ready drawings supporting new product introductions and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has an associate degree in a related field, proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks/Inventor, and experience in manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in drafting/engineering technology or manufacturing tech.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar.
• Experience creating and revising technical drawings in manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of drafting standards, dimensioning practices, and document control principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical work.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Collaborative skills to support fast-paced manufacturing environments with high-quality drafting and document control.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments under deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering document systems.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed manufacturing drawings, layouts, assemblies, and schematics based on engineering concepts and specs.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, process layouts, and other controlled docs.
• Revise drawings to support changes and continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and design teams to ensure documentation supports safe, efficient manufacturing.
• Interpret sketches, redlines, notes, and specs into formal documents.
• Prepare production documentation for new product introduction and equipment implementation.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards and engineering requirements.
• Maintain document control and archiving of obsolete documents.
• Standardize drawing formats and documentation templates across functions.
• Troubleshoot documentation issues on the production floor and update drawings as needed.
• Coordinate with teams to verify dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturability requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve clarity and usability of documentation.
