Job summary

TE Connectivity in Middletown, NJ, seeks a Manufacturing & Process Development Engineering Manager to lead the MPDE team in designing, optimizing, and validating new manufacturing processes. You will drive Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, collaborate with R&D, Quality, Operations and Supply Chain, and ensure processes meet safety, quality and cost targets across a global portfolio.

You will mentor engineers, manage projects, and stay current with advancing manufacturing technologies to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Optical or related field).
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing process development.
• 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Experience with process automation and equipment selection.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of process development engineers.
• Champion a Lean culture within MPDE NPD introductions.
• Oversee design, development, and validation of new manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Apply DFM/DFA principles for manufacturability at scale.
• Maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process flows.
