Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Manager, Manufacturing for a 12-hour PM shift, overseeing a production area in an Inspection and Packaging facility. You will ensure cGMP compliance, supervise staff, and drive production schedules while coordinating with QA, PPIC, Regulatory, and other teams.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, scheduling, and problem-solving abilities to keep operations running smoothly and in alignment with corporate policies. Shift rotates on a 12-hour cycle.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, or Master’s with 3+ years in pharma/biotech.
• Bachelor’s with 5+ years in pharma/biotech.
• Associate’s with 10+ years in pharma/biotech.
• HS diploma with 12+ years in pharma/biotech.
• Experience leading teams, projects, or resource allocation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and approve reports and protocols.
• Ensure cGMP and CFR compliance; update SOPs and procedures.
• Interact with FDA and ensure policy adherence.
• Oversee staffing, training, scheduling, and staff development.
• Manage cross-functional manufacturing activities and budgets.
