nVent is seeking a Manufacturing Operator in Solon, OH to set up, operate and maintain progressive die press machines and additional assembly equipment to produce quality parts per blueprints.

You will follow safety procedures, read blueprints, use calipers and gauges, handle lifting up to 50 lbs, and collaborate with teams to meet production targets.

This role requires hands-on experience with manufacturing tooling, a safety mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate heavy-duty power equipment to form and shape products as per blueprints.
• Assist with setup of dies and forming equipment; adjust strokes as needed.
• Check material size, type, and identification using calipers and gauges.
• Report faulty equipment and unusual conditions to supervision.
• Observe safety rules and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Possibly lift up to 50 lbs and operate lift equipment when trained.
