nVent is seeking an Assembly Operator to join our team in Solon, Ohio. You will assemble a wide range of electrical fastening products and components using hands, machinery, and various hand tools, following work instructions and blueprints. Regular quality checks ensure parts meet nVent’s standards.

You will participate in continual improvement, maintain a clean and safe work area, and support production schedules with accurate records and proper material handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience following work instructions or reading blueprints preferred.
• Experience assembling mechanical parts into a finished product preferred.
• Experience using hand and power tools preferred.
• Prior experience in a light industrial facility preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assemble products per Work Instructions and blueprints/drawings.
• Complete regular quality checks to meet standards.
• Select and move production materials as required.
• Maintain equipment and materials needed to complete operations.
• Follow safety procedures and 5S standards.
• Keep accurate records for Manufacturing Order and inventory balances.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities as needed.
