Job summary

Zekelman Industries in Niles, Ohio is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily plant operations, coordinate labor assignments, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency on the production floor.

You will collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Inventory to meet production goals while fostering a positive, safe, and team-oriented work environment that supports continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience in management or supervision.
• Working knowledge of MES and SAP or comparable platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily plant operations and coordinate labor assignments.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on the production floor.
• Develop work schedules and monitor performance to meet goals.
• Provide training, conduct evaluations, and manage coaching.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Inventory teams.
• Generate reports and address operational issues promptly.
