Job summary

Rogers Machinery Company, Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, providing direct leadership to supervisors and hourly teams across production, fabrication, and assembly.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, on‑time delivery, and cost management in a discrete manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will drive Lean initiatives, supervise plant processes, and partner with HR for staffing and development while ensuring compliance with company policies

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of progressive manufacturing experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or production management role.
• Demonstrated success managing operations in a discrete manufacturing or industrial equipment environment.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement tools.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production activities to achieve performance targets for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Work between Procurement and Engineering to ensure production and fabrication orders are released on time and scheduled accordingly.
• Supervise fabrication, assembly, and related operations to ensure consistent, efficient output and adherence to schedules.
• Maintain and execute SOPs and production reporting tools.
• Support capacity planning, resource allocation, and scheduling to meet customer and business requirements.
