Job summary

Vertiv Corporation seeks a Sr. Operations Manager to lead Franklin Furnace manufacturing operations in Ohio. You will drive safe, efficient, and on‑time production while aligning resources, staffing, and equipment to daily and long‑term goals.

You’ll coach production managers and teams, promote continuous improvement, and partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Planning to remove barriers and optimize flow on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of managerial experience.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, plant management, or a related industrial environment.
• Demonstrated success implementing lean practices in high‑mix, low‑volume environments
• Strong analytical, communication, and team‑building abilities
• Knowledge of Lean tools (Kanban, SMED, 5S, Kaizen, A3)
• Ability to interpret data and make data‑driven decisions.
• Experience working with MRP/PLM systems and manufacturing dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day‑to‑day production operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely manufacture of products.
• Drive production performance through execution of manufacturing priorities and route cause analyses.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, engagement, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Planning to resolve production issues.
