Job summary

Vertiv in Ironton, OH is seeking an Operations Manager to directly oversee the APU site supervisors and own the full scope of operations. You will direct manufacturing, supply chain, quality, delivery, and operational excellence to meet safety and performance goals.

You will plan, coordinate, supervise, and motivate teams, drive Lean initiatives, coach supervisors, and partner with HR to manage staffing and performance across a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Must lead safety culture and plant safety processes.
• Experience guiding Lean events and continuous improvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams.
• Ability to coach and develop supervisors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple production supervisors in a 24/7 operation.
• Drive improvements in machine downtime, schedules, quality and on-time delivery.
• Make operational decisions and determine manpower needs.
• Partner with HR for staffing, onboarding, and performance management.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Plant Leadership Team and other Ops managers.
