Job summary

Vertiv in Franklin Furnace, Ohio is hiring a night shift Production Supervisor responsible for supervising and coaching associates to meet KPI targets in Safety, Quality, Production and Environmental Health & Safety.

You will lead the production line, drive continuous improvement, conduct performance reviews, and ensure training compliance while collaborating with operations management.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of leadership experience.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop and coach a diverse team.
• Must be self-driven and able to work overtime.
• Knowledge of ISO and Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma.
• Must be available for applicable overtime as plant needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coaches individuals and teams to maximize effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of work.
• Monitors performance and facilitates improvements.
• Provides direction, support, and resources to teams.
• Coaches for improvements and recognizes accomplishments.
• Supervise employees involved in manufacturing activities including assigning and reviewing work and evaluating performance.
• Schedule and conduct meetings; train the team on policies and procedures and internal controls.
