Job summary

Interstate Assembly Systems in Surprise, AZ, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations and drive safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will guide planning, materials, quality, warranty and technical teams, implement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and manage performance through metrics and budgets. The ideal candidate has proven leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to customer satisfaction, with travel flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience as a Plant Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager or similar manufacturing leadership role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, inventory management and quality systems.
• Experience managing business performance through financial metrics, budgeting and operational reporting.
• Proven background implementing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma or related methodologies.
• Strong leadership, team building and employee development skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem solving abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to travel occasionally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity and profitability goals are achieved.
• Provide leadership and direction to production planning, materials engineering, support quality, warranty and technical teams.
• Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality and operational excellence.
• Monitor key operational and financial metrics to drive informed business decisions.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for business growth through diversification of products, services and customer markets.
• Drive accountability and performance through effective communication, coaching and employee development.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Support strategic planning and execution to achieve branch and organizational objectives.
• Represent Interstate Assembly Systems within industry associations and community organizations.
