Job summary

Interstate Assembly Systems, a division of Interstate Companies, in Surprise, AZ, seeks a seasoned Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery for customers.

You will coach cross-functional teams, implement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, monitor metrics, and partner with planning, engineering, and quality groups to support growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a Plant/Production/Operations Manager role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, planning, inventory, and quality systems.
• Experience driving business performance via budgeting and reporting.
• Proven Lean, Six Sigma, or CI implementations.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and development skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, productivity, and profitability goals.
• Provide leadership to production, planning, materials, engineering, quality, warranty, and technical teams.
• Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and quality.
• Monitor key operational and financial metrics to drive decisions.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Identify growth opportunities through product, service, and market diversification.
• Drive accountability through coaching and performance management.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
• Support strategic planning and execution for branch goals.
• Represent Interstate Assembly Systems in industry associations.
