Production Manager - Interstate Assembly Systems - Surprise, AZ

What You’ll Do
- Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity and profitability goals are achieved.
- Provide leadership and direction to production planning, materials engineering, support quality, warranty and technical teams.
- Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality and operational excellence.
- Monitor key operational and financial metrics to drive informed business decisions.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for business growth through diversification of products, services and customer markets.
- Drive accountability and performance through effective communication, coaching and employee development.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Support strategic planning and execution to achieve branch and organizational objectives.
- Represent Interstate Assembly Systems within industry associations and community organizations.
- Uphold Interstate Companies' commitment to delivering exceptional service and customer experiences.
What We’re Looking For - Required Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience as a Plant Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager or similar manufacturing leadership role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, inventory management and quality systems.
- Experience managing business performance through financial metrics, budgeting and operational reporting.
- Proven background implementing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma or related methodologies.
- Strong leadership, team building and employee development skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational and problem solving abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to travel occasionally as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing or related field.
- Experience within metal fabrication, assembly, industrial manufacturing, truck equipment or heavy-duty vehicle industries.
- Lean or Six Sigma certification.
