Job summary

Interstate Assembly Systems in Surprise, AZ is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations, drive cost-effective productivity, and ensure safety and quality across teams. You will coordinate production planning, materials, and quality, while promoting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting insight and experience with Lean, Six Sigma or CI practices.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in plant/production management.
• Strong grasp of manufacturing ops, planning, inventory and quality systems.
• Experience using financial metrics, budgeting and operational reporting.
• Experience implementing Lean, CI, Six Sigma or related methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, team building and coaching skills.
• Clear communication, organization and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, productivity and profitability goals.
• Direct production planning, materials, quality, warranty and technical teams.
• Drive continuous improvement for efficiency and operational excellence.
• Monitor key metrics to inform business decisions.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and satisfaction.
