Qualifications

• Experience leading a production area and coordinating teams.
• Strong track record of improving safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and visual management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team leaders and hourly staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational and improvement activities of an assigned production area.
• Align area metrics with department goals and manage staffing to daily plan.
• Oversee start-up and staffing of the production line; monitor absenteeism.
• Maintain line boards and pass information to the next shift for escalation.
• Apply Lean practices and escalation processes to drive corrective actions.
