Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Manager Production Operations 2 - OEM to lead the Manufacturing Operations team on high-profile programs. You will manage cost, schedule, and technical performance, coordinating with PMO, MA, GSC, and Engineering to meet program goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 8+ years (or 6+ with a Master's) and experience in operations leadership, SAP/ERP, and EVMS-based budgeting, with eligibility for a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant work experience in engineering, manufacturing or business management (or 6+ years with a Master's).
• Experience leading projects or initiatives in an operations-focused program or management role.
• Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvement.
• Experience with SAP/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (US citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manufacturing Operations team and coordinate with PMO, MA, GSC, Engineering and other partner functions.
• Report Manufacturing Operations status to the Program Manager and executives.
• Lead Manufacturing Operations proposal development activity.
• Ensure adequate resources and proper allocation to programs.
• Set and communicate goals with cross-functional teams and resolve performance issues.
• Develop and adhere to master production schedules.
• Develop and adhere to budget baselines using EVMS techniques.
• Implement risk and opportunity management practices, including mitigation and realization.
• Ensure contract scope adherence and manage change through CPB activities.
