Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Manager Production Operations 2 - OEM to lead the Manufacturing Operations team on critical programs, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical performance are met while coordinating with PMO, MA, GSC and Engineering.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's (or Master’s with more experience) and hands-on SAP/ERP, IMS familiarity, and a proven ability to obtain a Secret clearance, reflecting the role's security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years or Master's with 6+ years in engineering, manufacturing or business management.
• Experience leading operations-focused programs or equivalent roles.
• Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvement.
• Experience with SAP/ERP in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Manage Manufacturing Operations programs, overseeing cost, schedule and technical performance.
• Lead the Manufacturing Operations team and coordinate with PMO, MA, GSC and Engineering.
• Report status to Program Manager, Sector executives and customers with required detail.
• Lead proposal development and ensure resource allocation for programs.
• Set goals with cross-functional teams and communicate priorities to stakeholders.
• Develop and adhere to master production schedules and EVMS-based budgets.
• Implement risk and opportunity management and manage contract scope changes.
