Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Production Manager to coordinate manufacturing activities across multiple areas, ensuring production volume and quality within the approved budget. You will supervise tasks, mentor staff, plan schedules, and manage costs to deliver reliable results.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field, 6+ years of manufacturing leadership, proficiency in Excel and SAP, and experience with Lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in manufacturing or leading a team.
Proficiency in Excel and other computer skills.
Working knowledge of SAP.
Lean manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise production tasks and collaborate with quality and manufacturing engineering.
Coach, mentor, and guide employees on operations initiatives and changes.
Plan, organize, and manage activities to meet production schedules and cost objectives.
Hire, develop, evaluate, and, if necessary, terminate direct reports.
Implement plans for equipment, process and facility improvements.
Maintain safety programs to meet company and government requirements.
Lead strategic planning for production and productivity improvements.
Ensure manufacturing capabilities meet industry and customer standards.
Foster a safe, healthy work environment.
Monitor performance against goals and drive progress.
Assist HR in resolving personnel issues through data analysis and investigation.
