Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Production Manager who will coordinate multiple manufacturing areas to meet volume and quality targets within budget. You will lead production tasks, coach staff, plan schedules, and manage budgets while driving continuous improvement and safety across operations.

This role requires a 6+ year track record in manufacturing leadership, proficiency in SAP and Excel, and a strong understanding of lean principles to optimize cost and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
• 6+ years manufacturing leadership experience.
• Proficient in Excel and SAP.
• LEAN manufacturing knowledge preferred.
• Experience with high-volume mechanical connectors manufacturing or related processes.
• Ability to read component drawings, routers, BOMs and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production tasks and coordinate with quality and manufacturing engineering.
• Coach and mentor staff on operational changes.
• Plan and manage activities to meet production schedules and cost objectives.
• Hire, develop, evaluate, and terminate direct reports.
• Implement equipment upgrades and process improvements.
• Maintain safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead strategic planning for production and productivity growth.
• Ensure capabilities meet industry and customer standards.
• Foster a safe, healthy work culture.
• Prepare annual operating budget with Plant Manager.
• Monitor performance against goals.
• Support HR in resolving personnel issues by data analysis.
