Corning Inc. in Winston-Salem is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a group of front-line supervisors and hourly associates. You will be responsible for safety, quality, cost, delivery, and team morale, with direct and indirect reports and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and maintenance.

The role requires a BS degree and at least 5 years in manufacturing with proven leadership, plus experience in driving metrics and labor efficiency. Travel ~10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (technical or business degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing with proven track record of leadership progression.
• Direct people management experience with demonstrated leadership skills of conflict resolution, coaching, active listening, and employee effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety, quality, cost, delivery, and morale by leading front-line supervisors and hourly associates.
• Manage department overtime and optimize staffing to balance cost and productivity.
• Maintain staffing model and drive labor efficiency through cross-training and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with planning to ensure weekly and monthly production plans are executed and bottlenecks reduced.
• Support equipment upgrades, product introductions, and major maintenance activities.
• Identify bottlenecks and partner with lean teams to drive availability improvements (OEE).
• Lead and develop team members, aligning training with career development plans.
