Job summary

Corning, located in Keene, NH, seeks a Manufacturing Section Supervisor to lead daily operations across assigned departments in a fast-paced facility. You will supervise hourly staff, ensure safe, compliant production, and translate plant priorities into clear daily direction while coordinating staffing and production plans.

You will partner with Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and HR to meet performance metrics, drive continuous improvement, and uphold 5S and Kaizen

Qualifications

• Three or more years of front-line or department-level leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, communicate performance, prioritize work, and drive corrective actions.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, coaching, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for assigned manufacturing departments and ensure execution of production schedules.
• Directly supervise, coach, train, develop, and hold accountable hourly employees.
• Manage department performance against key metrics including safety, quality, output, and productivity.
• Coordinate staffing, shift coverage, overtime, and workflow within planned production schedules.
• Maintain a safe, organized, compliant environment and ensure adherence to policies and quality requirements.
