Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to lead daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will supervise hourly staff, coordinate with maintenance and engineering, and drive continuous improvement through Lean/Six Sigma practices.

The role offers growth into future operations leadership within a safety‑driven manufacturing environment in Illinois. A BS in engineering and 2+ years in manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
• 2+ years in manufacturing with internships or co-ops.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and metrics.
• Leadership, communication and problem solving skills.
• OSHA and quality/compliance knowledge.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Supervise and develop production team members; conduct shift meetings.
• Monitor KPIs (throughput, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency, OEE).
• Ensure schedules are followed; maintain shift reports and records.
• Support safety audits, root-cause investigations, and corrective actions.
• Apply Lean/Six Sigma/5S to improve workflow and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and material flow.
