Job summary

MPP is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing floor focused on safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include directing department leads, coaching staff, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the Press Department.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and 3–5 years of supervision in manufacturing. Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office is required, with Lean Six Sigma understanding favored.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, business, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of manufacturing supervision experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles including 5S, Kaizen, Continuous Flow, Lead Time Reduction, Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day direction to department leads and employees.
  • Plan and delegate workloads; adjust assignments as needed.
  • Communicate with management daily on quality, delivery, and training needs.
  • Lead toolbox talks and training to ensure safety and competency.
  • Perform performance evaluations and attendance management.
  • Support continuous improvement to increase productivity and reduce scrap.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, QA to maintain product quality.
