Job summary

Sheridan Minnesota is hiring Manufacturing Operating Technicians for the Bindery. No prior bindery experience is required—they’ll train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment and manage production tasks.

We’re looking for team players who are mechanically inclined and ready to learn in a fast-paced environment. You’ll join a 3-person team on a hands-on production floor, with on-the-job training and opportunities to grow within the print manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.).
• Takes pride in doing quality work.
• Reliable, team-oriented and able to work well with others.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up, run, and maintain all sections of the Machine.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machine and auxiliary equipment.
• Learn to interpret the information on work instructions and accurately record production data.
• Exercise initiative, ask questions and look for ways of improving productivity.

What You’ll Do:

• Show up reliably and work well with a team
• High school diploma/GED.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift.
• Fast‑paced, team‑oriented production floor.
• Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
