Sheridan Minnesota is hiring three Manufacturing Operating Technicians to learn the bindery process from the ground up. You'll train on high-speed equipment and contribute to producing books, catalogs, and printed materials. No bindery experience?

No problem—we provide training. You will set up, run, and maintain machine sections, troubleshoot minor issues, and record production data while working on a fast-paced, team-oriented floor.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate machinery and learn on the job.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to use basic hand tools.
• Ability to read basic job instructions and measurements.
• Reliable team player committed to quality.

We're hiring 3 team members ready to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in print manufacturing.

What You'll Do:

• Learn to set up, run, and maintain all sections of the Machine.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machine and auxiliary equipment.
• Learn to interpret the information on work instructions and accurately record production data.
• Exercise initiative, ask questions and look for ways of improving productivity.

What We're Looking For:

No bindery experience? No problem, we'll train you. We're looking for people who:

• Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team
• High school diploma/GED.

It's a plus if you have:

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift.
• Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor.
• Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
