Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years experience in a maintenance supervisor/manager role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based technologies.
• Project management and continuous improvement skills, including lean six sigma and IPS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage heavy workload in a busy manufacturing environment and complete projects on time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant duties: assign workloads, monitor quality, and safeguard employee safety.
• Develop and prioritize manufacturing plans to achieve service, quality and productivity goals including CI and waste reduction.
• Implement IPS performance metrics and assist in pursuing certification goals.
• Foster employee commitment to drive plant continuous improvement while upholding safety and quality requirements.
• Set a clear vision for areas assigned, aligning with site and corporate goals and leveraging technology to improve performance.
• Manage labor and capital resources, balance budgets, and plan maintenance and scheduling.
• Act as a key site leader, interacting with other departments and external contacts.
• Assist in developing annual performance plans to hit site objectives.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
