Job summary

IPG, a global leader in packaging and protective solutions, is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead daily operations in the Protect Packaging plants. You will ensure safety, quality and productivity while directing maintenance, staff and equipment.

The role requires a BS in mechanical engineering, 5+ years in a maintenance supervisory role, and strong communication. You will implement lean methods, manage budgets, and collaborate across departments to meet site goals and certification targets.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical discipline.
• 5+ years in a maintenance supervisor/manager role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related tech.
• Experience with lean six sigma and IPS
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Capable of managing heavy workload and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant duties, workloads, quality and safety.
• Develop manufacturing plans to meet service, quality and productivity goals, incl. CI and waste reduction.
• Implement and sustain IPS metrics; support site certification goals.
• Foster employee commitment to CI projects with safety and quality focus.
• Set vision for assigned areas; optimize technology use to improve performance.
• Manage labor and capital resources; schedule to ensure efficient operation.
• Collaborate with other departments and external contacts.
• Assist in annual performance planning for the site.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
