Job summary

IPG is seeking a Manufacturing Manager I for its Protective Packaging division in Marietta, GA. This role leads daily operations, drives safety, quality, and productivity, and partners with the Operations Manager to achieve site goals.

The candidate will manage workloads, develop improvement plans, and implement metrics to optimize performance. A strong engineering background and 5+ years in a similar role are preferred, with excellent communication as a key asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree or technical equivalent required/preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in a maintenance supervisor/manager role.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations, assign workloads, monitor quality, and uphold safety.
• Develop and prioritize manufacturing plans to meet service, quality, and productivity goals.
• Implement and sustain IPS metrics and support certification objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and waste reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments and leadership to align with site and corporate goals.
