Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Leader to direct and mentor a team of supervisors and staff on all pack-out activities for data center hardware. You will drive lean manufacturing principles, optimize packaging workflows, and manage quality, safety, and cost control across the pack-out operation.

The role requires strong leadership, process improvement expertise, and collaboration with engineering, supply chain, and IT to resolve shop-floor issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with 1–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven track record of leading and developing manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of manufacturing supervisors, production leads, and production staff, fostering accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Oversee pack-out operations to ensure accurate packing, quality, and on-time shipments.
• Manage packaging materials, crates, and packing supplies with inventory control and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, program management, IT, and QA to resolve shop floor and inventory issues.
• Implement and enforce quality control standards throughout manufacturing processes.
• Manage manufacturing budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma.
• Oversee pack-out equipment maintenance and calibration programs.
• Prepare and present regular reports on production performance.
