Manufacturing Manager II (2nd Shift), Robotics Manufacturing & Technical Operations

Join our team as a Manufacturing Manager II (2nd Shift) at Amazon Robotics. We are seeking a talented leader to oversee manufacturing operations in Westborough, MA, supporting our high-tech robotics production for fulfillment centers.

Role Overview

You will lead and support a team of manufacturing associates across material handling, electro-mechanical assembly, testing, packing, and shipping. Your responsibilities include ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and performance standards are met, while fostering a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery expectations.
2. Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet performance targets.
3. Develop and mentor a high-performing team, promoting inclusion and innovation.
4. Track and report process metrics and KPIs, driving improvement initiatives.
5. Implement process improvements and root cause analysis exercises.
6. Set team goals and ensure accountability.
7. Lead cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
8. Conduct employee performance reviews, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
9. Participate in new product introduction and manufacturing initiatives.

Shift Details

This is a 2nd Shift position (3pm-11:30pm, M-F). Candidates must initially train on 1st shift for 60 days before transferring to 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Support for new product development and logistics.
• Knowledge of ERP systems like Oracle and Agile PLM.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools.
