Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician in Sanford, NC to maintain and improve production equipment reliability. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, CNC, and PLC systems to minimize downtime and support targets.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with CNC/Mazak controls, VFDs, PLCs, and hydraulics. Full benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; technical certification or degree preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hand tools, machine shop equipment, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Familiarity with CNC machines, Mazak controls, and tooling preferred.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Welding, fabrication, and basic machining skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, CNC, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Install, align, and maintain motors, drives, bearings, conveyors, and rotating equipment.
• Service sensors, actuators, valves, and instrumentation; replace worn components.
• Fabricate, weld, and machine parts to support repairs and tooling needs.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and inventory using CMMS systems.
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Partner with production, engineering, and quality teams on root-cause analysis and process improvements.
