The role entails troubleshooting and maintaining automated production equipment, performing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime, and conducting root cause analysis to implement long-term solutions. Strong technical training in Industrial Maintenance or related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or automated production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job description

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading print manufacturing company in the Morrisville, NC area with hiring a Maintenance Technician tojoin their team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing and automated production equipment
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-related issues
• Support conveyors, CNC equipment, printers, packaging equipment, sensors, and automated systems
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and rebuilds
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions
• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO)
• Partner with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or Automation preferred
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or automated production environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Experience with conveyors, CNC equipment, packaging equipment, or automated material handling systems preferred
• Knowledge of VFDs, servo motors, and three-phase electrical systems preferred
• Experience with CMMS systems and preventative maintenance programs
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 5S principles is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
