Job summary
Quick Plug in Conover, NC is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Tech responsible for keeping manufacturing equipment and building systems operating at peak efficiency. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure safety and quality production.
The role requires strong PLC understanding, ability to read schematics and CAD drawings, and proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Licensed millwright with 5+ years in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of motors, pumps, valves, pneumatic and conveyors.
- Ability to read CAD drawings; ABB robotics knowledge is a plus.
- English reading/writing proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
Responsibilities
- Respond quickly to repair equipment and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with Production supervision, Process Engineering and management to determine priorities and actions.
- Plan and perform maintenance for shutdowns.
- Lead improvements of the preventative maintenance system.
- Assist in implementation of new PM software and record maintenance activity.
- Maintain safety and keep records of parts used.
- Work extra hours as required to keep production equipment running.
- Respond to after-hours calls as needed.
